That reminds me of a conversation I once had with a co-worker formerly from Minnesota. His mother had been saying how there used to be a lot more snow when she was growing up, to which he replied: "Mom, you were shorter."
Out here, it's the summer monsoons. Everyone's convinced that in the good old days you could count on a thunderstorm every afternoon during monsoon season, sure as clockwork.
The weather records, however, apparently don't agree, however.
