For those who have been awaiting this moment with -- patience, that's it. Patience.

For those who have been awaiting this moment with patience, then: The Liaden Universe® Big Bang is now listed on the Webscriptions site.

Also, we hear from a Loyal Minion at Jim Baen's Universe that fifty Friends of Liad bought subscriptions to the magazine since Misfits went up, on July 6. The JBU staffs thanks y'all gratefully. As we do.

Coming in late? You may read, right now, free of charge, the first half of "Misfits" (aka, the story of the weatherman and what became of him), from the above link. You don't have to subscribe, or even register, to do this. Under this plan, however, you don't get to read the rest of story until December, when the magazine comes out, and may be purchased from Jim Baen's Universe.

And in other news -- we got cover flats for the Ace edition of Crystal Dragon today. Yummy. I'll post a scan RSN. But first, I need to do some work.

Patience is a virtue, right? So . . . it is listed. But not with a "BUY ME" button. By my clock, tomorrow is the 15th, but of course, your time may vary.

Patience. There's a flower called that, right? No, that's impatients? Let's see, I can check on the next Fledgling installment - that's Monday. Okay, well, yes, I suppose I might have to do some work. Sure, sure. And I promise not to check the Big Bang site for at least, oh, say, a few more hours.

P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E! See what Liad means to me! Thumpity-thumpity-thump-thump-thump.

Thanks for the news!

Wow! 50 people x $50 and it's not even been two weeks. I hope you get some nice royalties or something useful-to-you for that. Regardless, congrats. It's nice to see what happens when you get a Loyal Fanbase (tm).

I realized the other day (29 June, actually) that the Ace editions of Balance of Trade and Crystal Soldier were using the Meisha Merlin cover art - admittedly shrunk down quite a bit. Boy was I surprised! Is Crystal Dragon doing the same thing?
