I'm having a hard time nailing down the language -- by which I mean the various "other" words that are necessary -- for this book. Frustrating, because that's usually the easiest bit.

Language shouldn't be nailed down, it should be free to evolve. Like English, not like French...

(~English doesn't so much borrow words from other languages as chase them down dark alleyways and mug them for new words...~)
