I hereby pronounce the first-and-an-umph draft of Duainfey Compleat. It's short by about 5,200 words, but I'll pick them easy in the next pass. Indeed, the challenge is going to be not to pick up too many words. Yes, I have burned a CD -- in fact two CDs, and backed up to the external hard drive, too.
Tomorrow, I will Print Out, and Tuesday I'll start in with the red pen. What fun.
In other news, badminton was fun! We'll see if I still think so tomorrow morning *g*.
And now? A glass of wine, and a rummage through the closet for respectable clothes. Tomorrow's Monday already...

Date: 2007-09-24 02:48 am (UTC)Best wishes also on the aftermath of badminton - may it all be enjoyable memories. I still have very enjoyable memories of a match played - more than twenty-five years ago - with my brother and two friends on the back lawn. The trees and house were the boundaries, and it began to rain half-way through. We played a full match, laughing wildly the whole time.
My folks' lawn was never the same, but the memories remain.
