Sunday morning wake up call

Cleaned and refilled the Magick Cat Fountain(tm); administered cookies to interested feline parties; made coffee; vacuumed; breakfasted on the world's driest raisin bran muffin; drank coffee; put the weekly rice on to boil. At six-thirty, the numb fellow who makes this his Sunday ritual fired a shotgun into (I hope to ghod) the air.
Mozart is currently on top of the filing cabinet in my room (Base! You can't get me up here, you diabolical cat eater, you!). Scrabble is, I believe, downstairs. (Base! Yes, I know you can come down the stairs, Cat Eating Machine, but I'm betting you won't.). The house still looks like a bad accident between a used bookstore and a dump truck, but at least, yanno, the rugs are clean.
Long day at the typer yesterday; and another just like it on the books for today. Tomorrow is Monday. No fair.
Time to get to work.
