I've been talking a little bit about drafts and revisions over in theo_waitley. This morning, I wake up to find, via kateelliott, that Simon Haynes is discussing the same issue, with visual aids. That picture is just... No wonder it takes me days to find my floor at the end of every book...

So that would explain why my office looks like somebody murdered an entire Office Depot stockroom in here. Between the giant amounts of paper and my complete lack of filing/organizational skills*, my poor office didn't stand a chance.

*In the real world. The inside of my head is completely organized.
