...including Lee and Miller's "Misfits". You must of course purchase the magazine in order to read the story, and all the rest of the stories, of which there are a Large Number, every single one of them looking very yummy, indeed.

There's also supposed to be a podcast over at The Future and You, but at the moment I don't find it. I'd appreciate a pointer, if someone who's had more coffee than I have can locate it.

Off! To the coffeepot!

The Future and Now podcast appears to be about stories and topics with interviewees who has some relevance with them. I don't think you will get the actual stories.

So, have Rolanni and Kinzel have an invite to the "The Future and You" podcast yet?

On a related matter. Is there going to be any more of the Fledgling podcasts? The last one was posted August 12th.

I listen thru the November 1st podcast. There's mentions of Misfits at about thirty-three & a half minute and thirty-nine & a half minute of the podcast. Sounds like your standard quickie sells pitch.

The December 1st podcast have no Jim Baen Universe content. Something about gone over the bandwidth of some server. May be inserted in podcast later,if it became available.

Just a warning to any, like me, who might want to buy only the current issue in order to support our illustrious Hosts:

The shopping cart on the JBU site does not work. I just paid for access to "the current issue" and received access to the last issue. Even though My Payment History shows that I paid for Vol. 2, No. 4, Issue Access Grid assures me that I can read Vol. 2, No. 3 to my heart's content. Which, well, it isn't.

ETA: Well, someone there is at work on a Saturday, because he wrote to tell me he'd fixed my subscription. So there's no guarantee that you won't get my same problem, but there's at least a possibility it will get addressed right away.

Shopping cart bug bit me too

I had the same problem. With identical results. I don't know if the person who fixed your problem was named Paul, but I'm going to have to save his reply to my complaint. It may be needed for evidence in an assault or attempted murder investigation.
The potential victim is apparently a Baen Guru!

It was a fellow named Paul, yes. Was his reply that horribly rude? He was quite nice to me, even though I am sorry to report that my initial complaint was Not Terribly Nice At All. Snarky, even.

No Paul wasn't rude at all.
But his response seemed to promise retribution to someone.

Paul replied to me:

"I'm about ready to 'scream' at our Gurus since you're not the only
person with this problem. I've gotten you the Dec issue."

Paul

I exaggerated for effect. :)

Iran a little late due to local deviation and got the podcast to Steve a couple of days later than he needed. I heard from him today and the podcast should be added to this month's edition today or tomorrow. Sorry about that.

Ah. OK.

Sorry about that.
