* A gift check from the parental units arrived in yesterday's post -- much appeciated!
* The Subaru's windshield cracked straight across while Steve was out running errands.
* The windshield place gave us an 8 a.m. Christmas Eve appointment, with promises that the new windshield will be in by noon.
* We'll have change back from the check.
And, in a rare concession to the Season, Mozart agreed to sit for a portrait, with the Toy of the Moment, a yellow plush rattlemouse :

Date: 2007-12-22 09:28 pm (UTC)Yep, he has the Patented Coon Cat Bigfoot(tm), tufts between the toes and all. Maine coon cats are uniquely adapted to survive in Maine, which means, among other fine features, nice big feet to spread their weight out over the snow.
How much does he weigh?
He's right around 15 pounds.
