We've been amusing ourselves with the Thin Man flicks starring William Powell and Myrna Loy. So far, we've seen The Thin Man, Return of the Thin Man, The Thin Man Goes Home and Shadow of the Thin Man. [livejournal.com profile] kinzel, who was Shamefully Deprived of the opportunity to view these timeless classics as a child, professes himself game to go the whole course. And so we shall.

In other news, a mini-proposal has been crafted and submitted to Madame the Agent. We now await word of its suitability. In the meantime, a nap was had, and then work on the Project at Hand. I do believe that the Radical approach was the right thing to do. Things are clicking along much more satisfactorily now.

And! It appears that I am going to get my wish! The weatherbeans are calling a nor'easter, with expected accumulation of 5 to 8 inches. What fun! New, white, (hopefully) fluffy snow to cover the old, dirty, hard snow. Of course, driving back and forth to work in it isn't likely to be much fun, especially considering the style in which the Great City of Waterville performs its snow-clearing operations, but -- snow! Way cool.

I grew up on the Thin Man movies. Kinzel is in for a treat, and I hope he enjoys them too.

They just don't make 'em like that anymore.
