rolanni: (Dr. Teeth)

Well... I've had noticeably more energy and ability to concentrate in the last week, which I suppose means that the adjusted dosage for the thyroid meds is working, and not a moment too soon, as I'm scheduled to drop by the lab tomorrow afternoon after work and leave a little blood behind.

One thing I've noticed which seems...atypical... is that I'm waking up tired -- tireder than when I couldn't wake up at all, if you take my meaning. The contributor to that seems to be the fact that my brain isn't turning off when I go to sleep and so I have the sense that I've been listening to it yammer at me all night, like someone having a Very Intense telephone conversation in the next room. Hard to get a good night's rest that way.

A royalty check arrived yesterday, which was much appreciated. A credit card bill has been killed in celebration.

The mini-proposal sent off the other day was met with tempered interest, and an invitation to nail down a couple of corners. We got out a hammer and nailed, and now we wait.

In the meantime, we write, why not.

I just had my thyroid meds adjusted, and noticed that for about a week after, I was so tired it was real effort to get out of bed, but I didn't immediately think there was a correlation between that and the meds kicking in. Interesting....

and ah yes, the joys of visiting the vamps. Bleah.

I always had that reaction when they change up my thyroid replacement too. Going to bed a little earlier and drinking plenty of WATER helps enormously.
