Well, the snow never did materialize, though the sky lowered and glowered all day, trying to scare us all into believing that it really was going to produce something worthwhile. It was so dim and dank that I caught myself nodding off at my desk, which, yanno, will not do, so I went kind of across and down to the library, where it was at least warm, and collected another couple books. I do so love working in a library!

The stack of reading material, counting my library foragings and the books Steve gave me for Solstice is pretty dern impressive. I need two months off to catch up on my reading.

*Looks at March 15 deadline*

...or maybe not.

Came home and read my piece (fingers crossed that this one takes), and had a good run at writing. Time to quit now, and sit down with Steve for dinner and catch each other up on our days.

Oops, almost forgot! Girl Genius/Studio Foglio fans, be aware!:

Phil Foglio, creator of What's New, Buck Godot, and co-creator of Girl Genius, will be here to talk about the decision to move from print comic to webcomic publishing, and who knows what else? Tell your friends! Tell your enemies!

So, one quarter is halfway to half done, which is halfway to all done, which is nigh unto complete! Despite Zeno's qualms about poor Achilles chasing the tortoise (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeno's_paradoxes ) it looks as if Longeye is progressing!

YEAH! And there's probably a laurel leaf circlet waiting (although Wikipedia seems to think that the classic prize for the Olympics was an olive branch).
