Hey, someone has noticed (again!) that creative people are more likely than others to be depressive or bipolar. This article rises a little above others of its kind because of its stance that those who reflect upon the world are more likely to get depressed than those who, um, don't. Well...duh.

Speaking of reflecting upon the world...Mr. Bernanke revealed this afternoon that the "outlook for economic growth" has decreased since they rammed the war with Iraq Bailout Bill through Congress. Yeah, that's depressing.

And! Some talking heads profess to being concerned that Tina Fey's impersonation of Sarah Palin may cost the Governor some votes, because people will be confused. This, apparently, because Governor Palin kindly saved Ms. Fey's writers some work by providing source material that didn't have to be rewritten before it went to SNL.

Yeah, I gotta stop doing the news.

Hmm... whereas up North here, our perspective so far is.... the stock market crash is symptomatic of lack of investor confidence in the market. Only a government could think that saying 'Oh! the economy / market / banking community is in REAL trouble! we need to bail it out!' would INCREASE investor confidence.
