* My paycheck, or a reasonable facsimile thereof, is in the checking account. Go, us!

*Hexapuma allows the duct tape to restrain him. For now.

*Steve is arrived safely at his destination

*After-work errands include a visit to the vampires, sigh.

*It's Friday!

May I suggest sticky backed velcro for future security. It was the thing that kept my 2 yo son from opening the refrigerator for the longest stretch. Of course, if it's a cupboard, you can use child proof latches, or even rubber bands wrapped around two door handles.

I read that as 20-year-old, and got the *oddest* image...

We have child safety latches on all of our lower cabinets, including the linens, just for the cats. They work. I highly recommend them, especially for under the kitchen & bathroom sinks if you keep cleaners and other nasty stuff for cats in them.

We also have a couple of cats who can open drawers, but the only one of real interest to them is the plastic bag drawer (such nice sounds!).

Had a cat once who showed her displeasure at my roommate's absence (vacation) by getting into his dresser and leaving socks and underwear all over his bedroom; she also ignored him for a few days after he came back.

Check in -- good.

I note we do have some velcro strips available either in my car or in the basement... but *where* in te basement I'd need to study on....

I looked for them downstairs this morning -- admittedly not a Thorough Search, and found them not.

If you can think of a likely place, let me know, though the duct tape is working for the moment.
