I lost my hat. My nice, dorky fleece-lined baseball cap with the ear-flaps. I had it yesterday. I wore it yesterday afternoon. I took it off when I got in the car, put it in my bag, took it (I thought) into the house. Except this morning I couldn't find it in my bag. Oh, no worries, I thought; it's in the car. Except not.

Sigh.

Not the season to be hatless.

Hmm. Fleece lined, nice and soft and warm and fuzzy. Smells like person who feeds cats.

Have you asked Hexapuma where it is?

You should keep emergency back-up hats. We do.

Which will then go missing, them own selves.

Just checking... You did look under seats in car? It's amazing the things that hide under them.

It's always a bad plan when you lose your hat. Sorry for your loss.

Also check where the car was parked. I've had things spontaneously levitate out of bags when I was clambering out of mine.

About that hat

Wait, do you mean that mostly black hat that's poking out from behind my black vest made of the same material and bought at the same place and time? That one?

I know where it is.

That one?

In sooth, that very one.

I know where it is.

Yay! Saved from having to buy scratchy Peruvian headgear from the bookstore.

Yay! Indeed. I have seen 'possums with frost-bitten ears. Not a pretty sight.

From the looks of the trail of comments, it was just the CIB conspiracy. Think we can get Mulder and Scully to investigate?

CIB? Clothes In Black, of course. Look around, they're clearly out to get us.
