BtW: Day Three
Wednesday, September 15th, 2004 07:02 pmEmailed updated proposal and sample chapters to Madame the Agent, who looked them over and will send on to Madame the Editor. Now, we wait.
While waiting, I opened up the Surebleak story destined for the Yule chapbook, re-read what was there, played mumbledimumble games of Spider until my brain accepted that we were Someplace Else Now; tweaked a few infelicities, and added a mite of new stuff. The party's shaping up nicely, if I do say so myself.
Project: "Lord of the Dance"
New words written: 437
Total words: 1427
Reason for stopping: Tired. The scene's rolling, a nice conflict is a-building, and characters are in mid-argument. Good place to pause for the night. Part of the problem with picking the story up again after so long away was that I stopped at a nice, neat scene break, with no imperative for the next bit of action. I do know better than that, sigh.

Long day on the road on SRM bidness projected for tomorrow. May take Sabu with me and try to sketch some stuff in on the drive.
