I'm gonna be in a world of hurt next Monday, though, you betcha.

Fledgling is coming along nicely and is on track for a complete print-out on Tuesday so Steve can actually read it before it's sent on to Mesdames the Editor and the Agent. At which point, we're gonna have to, I dunno, throw pickup sticks or something to determine viable delivery dates for Saltation and the as-yet-untitled sequel to Scout's Progress. This could get tricky. Anybody got a winning lottery ticket of more than $200K, after taxes, think about us, 'k?

In other news, today there was Rain and Fog, and random blowing cloud-rags, and melting. Sigh. There's still snow on the ground, but it ain't that pretty at all.

I've been reading news that Michigan (!) is expecting rain and flooding. Got me how that is, since Minnesota (here) is mostly snow and cold.

Well until Saturday it was cold and we had a couple of feet of snow on the ground. Then rain, flooding, most of the snow gone --it was 60 degrees F Saturday. 73 MPH winds today. It has been exceptionally fun here the last two days. Snow again tomorrow though.

christmas itself was wonderful, the day after not so much. i stepped outside to walk my dog, slipped on some ice and managed to break my left arm. what a way to start the new year =-/.

*nod* thanks for the well wishes. i should be out of the cast in 6-8 weeks, meanwhile i get to sleep sitting up=-]. on the other hand my mom insisted i go to florida to visit (recuperate) for a few days, so i can't complain much.
