As it turns out, our vet was able to see Hexapuma this morning, so, after oatmeal and tea, we drove down into town. Hex is apparently allergic to something in the new cat food, sigh. He won a shot of depro medrol, and we won going back to Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul. We suspect the corn, of which Wysong has rather more than Chicken Soup. The vet said that the best thing we could feed him would be a steady diet of mouse. Ahem.

Came home and wrote, breaking around noon-ish for Steve's potato ragu, then back to the keyboard. I Now Officially Call It a Day, and will be going out the kitchen to do the dishes, by way of a change of pace.

The weatherbeans are calling for dern near 40 degrees(F), with the surety of rain having morphed into "chance of snow or rain showers 40%". So, we'll get what we get on the weather front. More or less same like always.

Over the last couple weeks, I've gotten six or seven invitations to join various circles of influence or whatever they're called on LinkedIn. Yes, I do have a LinkedIn account, but I don't have the First Notion of what to do with it, so for the moment, I'm ignoring it! It's nothing personal, just boneheadedness.

You got a snake to eat them frozen? My one-time-roommate had a boa who ate mice....LIVE mice. The pet store saved the "mean" ones for us. Snake wouldn't eat dead mice, but stunned was OK, so at least we didn't have to put a fully alert mouse into the snake tank.

Nature, red in tooth and claw....and snake coil.

Maybe Hex would settle for frozen rabbit? Easier to get.
