Man, I don't think I could've handled another day in this week.

Proposition: If twenty people whine for 15 minutes per this week, no one of them has really whined very much at all. If they all whine at the same person, that person is likely to feel exhausted and abused. Double, perhaps, if that person is a long-time introvert.

Anyhow, a bad week in which no one actually behaved badly. Also? My hands hurt. A lot. Scraping wet snow off of cars must not be the Simple, Healthy Exercise I was always taught that it was. Why doesn't the Cabana Boy do these small services for me? What do I pay him for?

Oh. Right.

Me for a glass of wine and a chapter or two of Avatar. On deck tomorrow, breakfast out! then a book-signing marathon at SRM Galactic Headquarters followed by a trip to the grocery store, because, hey! it's supposed to snow on Sunday.

Everybody stay warm.

(I should go back and make sure I don't have too many terrible typos, before I release the link into the wild...oh well. Too late now...)

Have you ever noticed how the shortened week after a holiday always feels like a life sentence>

It probably would have felt worse, if I'd had a four-day week. Happily, the Institution of Higher Learning for which I labor does not give staff President's Day off, so I was at least spared the Condensed Work Week Effect.
