...I have it (probably); I treasure it and am warmed by your regard. Rest assured that I will answer. But probably not today.

I'm sorry, but this is part of the "choose three things to do today" lifestyle, which most days is: 1. Go to day-job 2. Write 3. Do some paperwork. I freely admit that I've been cheating on the weekends, when my three things have lately been: 1. Write 2. Write 3. Write. I'll try to squeeze email in this weekend.

And for all you folks who can do 'way more than three things every day, I am in awe.

No pressure; I never expect replies from a working writer, especially from one who's putting up with a day job and was pleasantly surprised to get one from you.

write!

I suspect we would (mostly) all prefer that you write, write and write. We can all happily chat, but only you ( well , mostly, again) can write the lovely thing we like to read.
Tried soaking your hands in comfrey tea?? Might help, or at least feel good. I worry. Prob'ly so do others. :(
Take care,
Nanette

Also grated gingerroot as a hand soak can help, as it is a circulatory stimulant.

I've had the flu, which goes with lying half-awake and ruminating about all the unpleasant things in the world.

Yesterday I remembered that I'd just gotten two volumes of the Liaden Universe Companion. I read them and then, when I lay awake, I could contemplate whatever happened to the baby Luken Bel'Tarda must have had with the nice child he married to get her out of Er Thom's hair, and just how Liaden the Surebleak grandchildren will be with nobody to practice on, and things like that.

It was a big improvement. Thank you both, so much.

And, again, no need to reply.

I'm pretty certain that with Kareen yosPhelium in the picture, the Surebleak grandchildren will be nuance perfect in all aspects of the Code... or at least as much as any of Korvals children ever are. ;-)
