First, there is a "bookseller" who is making it a practice of listing anticipated new books that do not exist for sale as "used" for Lots of Mon$y. I just wrote to them about a "used" copy of Fledgling they had on offer for $1,000; the same bookseller has an as-yet-unpublished novel by msagara listed "used" for that same $1,000. I did get a note back saying that the bookseller did not own the book (surprise!) and that the listing was "an error." Once is "an error;" twice is a pattern. The offending "bookseller" is TSCBooks. You have been warned.

Second, happier news: Lee and Miller have made it to the big time! Yes, I mean we're on YouTube. Buzzy Multimedia did about an hour-long interview with Steve and me at StellarCon, and now you may view the fruits of our labors, edited, in seven glorious segments. Go! View! Comment! Rate! You know you want to.

This "bookseller" also has at least one of Maya Banks unpublished books for the same price.

I have contacted that bookseller informing them that any copy of BLOOD FROM STONE they were selling had not been shipped yet, and therefore was probably stolen property, and that I had informed both my publisher and amazon.com of that fact.

Also, just as a PSA, anyone who wants to pay $1,000 for one of our books before it hits the stores really should deal directly with the author(s). We're more than happy to oblige a fan....
