For those who would like to help Steve and me register our books that Meisha Merlin, um, forgot to copyright, per the terms of our contract with them, we will most gratefully receive PayPal payments in whatever amount seems fitting to you at rolanniATkorval.com (where @ replaces AT).
I have very mixed feelings about this -- given MM's breach of contract, it is our responsibility to see our books properly registered. However, so many people have offered assistance that I feel that we'd be churlish to simply ignore them. And then there's the whole Feeding the Cats issue...
In other news, the irises are still there(Go, iris!), the day-job was nuts, the trees are into orgy-overtime, and tomorrow it's going to be HOT. On the plus side, books! arrived from Amazon.com, courtesy of a much-appreciated gift card. I now have in hand Edison's Eve, The Last Days of the Incas, and New Amsterdam. I am wealthy, indeed.
Also? I wrote some tonight.
