While searching for Something Entirely Else just now, I discovered Partners in Necessity on a (really, really) llllloooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggggg list of "banned or challenged" books. Dinged for gay, lesbian and bisexual content, byerlady, and deemed possibly inappropriate for children.

Well, um, who said Partners was a kid's book?

Look and wonder.

Many congrats!

I am honored to exchange pixels with you--I suppose there are a few worthless books out there which are occasionally challenged, but most of them usually have something useful, important, or Truthful to say about the universe. Hence the fear they engender.

Since NIGHT CALLS and KINDRED RITES could be said to promote the study of witchcraft, I myself keep waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I need a tee shirt promoting banned books. I have a nifty one that starts out "Free people read books." Time to excavate the tee shirt drawer....
