Fledgling E-Arc Available from Webscriptions, Plus!

The Fledgling electronic ARC (Advance Reading Copy) is now available from Baen Webscriptions  (http://www.webscription.net//). Bundled with the E-arc are The Tomorrow Log and Dragon Tide. Because Dragon Tide is a shorter form than Webscriptions is accustomed to dealing with, it in turn has been bundled with TTL creating the "book" entitled The Tomorrow Log and Dragon Tide.

I would like to get the Baen copies, but I've spent my book money for this month on a copy of "The Cat's Job" from SRM which still hasn't come in. Paid for it on April 9 and still haven't received it. I know the money has been taken out of my checking account. Must be a hold up somewhere.

I don't wish to sound obnoxious or dismissive of your plight, but telling me this, here, does not move your cause forward.

Steve, who is SRM Publisher, is at Balticon. I assume you have communicated directly with Steve on this issue? If not, please send him an email at publisher AT srmpubliher.com, but! do not expect an immediate answer. He will be back in Maine, conservatively, Wednesday morning, and I'm betting he will not be rushing immediately into the office.

I have no access to the mailing slips; I don't know who you are in Real Life (note: don't tell me -- see No Access to Mailing Slips).

Sometimes, things do go missing. Sometimes, we here at the SRM Publishing Empire f*ck up. Sometimes, believe it or don't, the post office f*cks up. Sometimes, though I'm sure this isn't so in your case, the customer makes things confusing for us and we spend extra time trying to figure out what the correct course of action might be.

We are very sorry when any of these things happen, and we do our best to fix them as quickly as we can.

Just a note - Fledgling ARC, enjoyable read indeed! Really nice to see the fleshed out story solving some of the draft's original plot lines! Now, I HAVE to go read Saltation again! thanks!!
