Amazon.com is now posting reader reviews for Fledgling. If you have read the eArc and would like to provide a review, now is the hour. There are no (that's no) structural or plot alterations between the eArc and the final book.

Reviewing before the release date at Amazon

A person has to be an "Amazon Vine" member to review this book before the release date.

I wonder if this came about partially because of the pre-release reviews of politically themed books during the past election season? That got u.g.l.y...

Hmm...

Doesn't appear to be the case. I just clicked right through from the "create your own review" to a screen asking me if (1) I'm over 13 years old (Y/N) (2)How do I rate the item, (3)Please enter a title and (4) Share your opinion/select your review type (Video/Written) and a large space in which to write my opinion.

I'm not actually going to write a review, because That Would Be Cheating, so I can't test it out to the end, but it does seem to be live for UnEqual Animals, too. . .

I must be more than unequal... where the "create your own review" button is for you is the "Amazon Vine" disclaimer for me.

Went to some other books and compared/contrasted what appeared for me on the screen. It appears that I am persona non grata for unreleased books. That's OK--the reviews that are there are bodacious, spiffy, and all-around terrific. I'll get my licks in after the release date.

Thanks to you and Steve for creating the Liaden Universe for us to play in!

Join the club -- and I know I have written some reviews for Amazon before. I guess it's all in who you know... it gives us time to really polish our reviews, right?

Not one of the Vine but I did add comments to both reviews for Fledgling. Notice pre-order for Saltation is listed. Gotta go back and see if any reviews there that I can comment on.
