For those with a reviewing bent. . .
Sunday, August 2nd, 2009 06:08 pmAmazon.com is now posting reader reviews for Fledgling. If you have read the eArc and would like to provide a review, now is the hour. There are no (that's no) structural or plot alterations between the eArc and the final book.
I would ask that spoilers be tagged, or avoided.
Thank you, and go to't.

Reviewing before the release date at Amazon
Date: 2009-08-02 10:46 pm (UTC)From the Amazon site: "What is Amazon Vine™?
Amazon Vine™ is a program that enables a select group of Amazon customers to post opinions about new and pre-release items to help their fellow customers make educated purchase decisions. Customers are invited to become Amazon Vine™ Voices based on the trust they have earned in the Amazon community for writing accurate and insightful reviews. Amazon provides Amazon Vine™ members with free copies of products that have been submitted to the program by vendors. Amazon does not influence the opinions of Amazon Vine™ members, nor do we modify or edit their reviews."
I wonder if this came about partially because of the pre-release reviews of politically themed books during the past election season? That got u.g.l.y...
Re: Reviewing before the release date at Amazon
Date: 2009-08-02 10:57 pm (UTC)Doesn't appear to be the case. I just clicked right through from the "create your own review" to a screen asking me if (1) I'm over 13 years old (Y/N) (2)How do I rate the item, (3)Please enter a title and (4) Share your opinion/select your review type (Video/Written) and a large space in which to write my opinion.
I'm not actually going to write a review, because That Would Be Cheating, so I can't test it out to the end, but it does seem to be live for UnEqual Animals, too. . .
