It is, according to Weather Underground 84F/29C outside at this moment, which is plenty warm enough, thanks.

Here in the attic office it is 87F/31C.

For some reason, I'm having a hard time keeping my mind on all this Important Work here on the desk. . .

Wow, 87 degrees. I start complaining at 75° here. Unfortunately, OSHA doesn't have any regulations regarding temperature, only recommendations. "OSHA recommends temperature control in the range of 68-76° F and humidity control in the range of 20%-60%." [1]. Still, I'd mention it to your equivalent of a Campus Health and Safety Office, assuming it's a battle you wish to fight.

On the other hand, exercise in absurdist comparisons, back when I was an army instructor in the Signal School, we had quite specific standards and a "sling psychrometer" with which to calculate the temperature-humidity index and decide whether to dismiss class.

The effing US Army had better job-safety standards than OSHA and Colby College????
