Rain, Rain...
Saturday, April 3rd, 2004 11:19 am...best not finish that, I guess. We had less than optimal -- or even needful -- snow this winter and are heading into spring with a low water table. I really *shouldn't* complain about the rain.
So, yesterday -- I ran errands in the cold, pouring rain. It's nice to have food in the house again. Unfortunately, cold rain is just what my hands don't like, so I did not do the inventory or indeed anything useful, though I did finish up _Graveyard Dust_, read the new Locus (cool review of _Balance of Trade_, yay! Someone *gets* it), and made even more notes toward the Work That No One Wants To Read.
The agent says the check from the audiobook deal is in the mail *phew*. Still looking forward to hearing who's going to be reading...
As of this writing, the inventory is done, so all the numbers are in one place. Onward! The filing awaits.

Cat update: Mozart: Asleep in rocker; Patia: Asleep in bed; Max!: Asleep under the co-pilot's chair in Steve's office; Scrabble: asleep in the pilot's chair downstairs in SRM Galactic Headquarters.
