Man, that is one fine letter. It's almost a shame I wasn't baptised in any religion, so I can't have the pleasure of sending one of those off, but I might use it to attempt to convince my 'Rapture Ready' nephew that he's better off with Santa Clause.

I am moving forward to be excommunicated and am going to share this with others! I am sick that they have been using me towards this kind of legislation when I have never set a foot inside a church as a worshiper - ahhhhhhhh! My feminist soul is totally sick!

Now I just have to face my mother who will thank I am going to burn in hell - but as another feminist I hope she will understand when I show your information to her.

Or you could join the Episcopal church. Ordained women, gay unions...the whole nine yards. Seems a fair swap, after all the Catholics are taking our folks who aren't comfortable with women, gays etc. You still get a nice liturgy and good music, but you aren't required to believe (or obey) seven impossible things before breakfast.
