All righty, then

A day of sitting in front of the computer, mostly. I did make up the Big 2010 Calendar and hung it in place of the now-outdated Big 2009 Calendar in the hallway. What? Don't you have an office-grade event calendar in your hallway?

I think that's about all I got done today, since I was ambushed by a scene and figured I'd better go with that. Scene done now, and 2800 words on the day. Not too bad, all things considered.

It's snowing, though it looks like we've been downgraded from snowpocalsype to "a couple days of light, pleasant snow, with a total accumulation of maybe five inches." I can live with that.

In contrast to my dilettante ways, Steve has been a dynamo, cleaning off cars, adding liquids, fixing things, hanging art, fixing breakfast, and lunch, and is warming the oven for receipt of the Ritual Pizza while he washes the dishes.

And so we end the old year as we intend to live the new one: busy and at peace with our work.

Hope everyone has a lovely holiday, followed by a productive and joyous new year.

Miri smiled; remembered her manners and inclined her head. "Thank you, Mr. pel'Kana; it is good to be home."

We appear (as of this evening's weather-lies) to still rate a snowpocalypse. In the inane catch-phrase beloved by Weather Central, "track is key."

Oh, yeah, 2800 words, you slacker. Sheesh. :) Seriously, well done! Thank you for the well wishes; I return them, with interest.

On the other claw there is a big difference between having to move a five inch pile of snow once and the same amount moved in varying increments over over several days.

A thank you to you and Steve for the results of your productivity I've received this year. I'm looking forward to what 2010 will bring from the Lee and Miller team.
