rolanni: (kitty!)
[personal profile] rolanni
Um, yesterday. Was Saturday. I went to the grocery store. On the way back, I stopped at Children's Book Cellar to chat with Ellen and to pick up photos from our October book signing*. I did dishes, tortured the cats, Paid Close Attention, wrote enough to keep the Guilt Monster at bay.

This morning, have done some chores; answered some email, crankily; decided against answering any more emails (Note to those people who think that because I'm The Girl, I'm the Nice One: Don't.); started the laundry; and will settle in to write as soon as I finish posting here.

Steve is still sick. Not as sick, I think, but he's not going out dancing any time soon.

Thanks for posting the photos from the book signing. I think that I like the first one the best.

The snippet from Ghost Ship is very tantalizing. It makes me imagine all sorts of mayhem to come!

Glad to hear that Steve is recovering from his bout with bronchitis. I used to have a tendency to develop bronchitis with a really bad cold until I hit the grand old age of 50. At that point in time, I listened to the urging of my then-current health care professional, and got a pneumonia vaccine. Since then (cross my fingers and hope that I am NOT tempting fate), I have not had any bouts with bronchitis. This has been a big relief to me, since there is a tendency towards developing very severe lower respiratory infections with a cold on both sides of the family.
