PSA: For those with outstanding orders from SRM, Publisher
Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 09:00 amHello,
Steve Miller here -- I'm publisher at SRM Publisher. I apologize to those of you waiting for orders -- many are behind schedule. That's because I run a one person office in Waterville and I'm not in and haven't been in for over a week, doctor's orders. Ignoring the cough and 102 degree fever in favor of packing things didn't work so I'm on a rest-and-drugs regime for this week.
Snail mail, phone calls, and email are pretty far behind; I hope to get back to work Monday the 25th, which means I'll still be behind for sometime thereafter. Repeated emails to multiple addresses won't get answered sooner than single queries and may end up in the spam filters, slowing response for everyone.
This is not an optimal situation, but it is where things stand. Please bear with me.
Steve Miller,

Get Well Soon
Date: 2010-01-19 02:37 pm (UTC)Hope you get well soon. When a person is active it is a real challenge to cope with the enforced idleness of illness. Take Care.

Date: 2010-01-19 06:53 pm (UTC)Understood...all too well...these Levaquin 750 mg tablets seem to be overcoming this case of pneumonia that snuck up on me last week. No kittens around, so I don't have to suffer the indignity of having one overpower me and prove just how much rest and recovery I need. Cold rainy day in this little piece of the SouthWest today, but random selections from collection of 80's Greatest Rock Hits is helping warm up the spirits a tad. Hang in there, take care, and get well.

Date: 2010-01-19 09:56 pm (UTC)On the other mitten, I'm anxiously waiting for Mouse and Dragon, which will arrive when I am stuck with one foot in the air. It's going to be a challenging reading posture!

First job...get well
Date: 2010-01-19 11:48 pm (UTC)I also have an order in the line but I agree with previous posters. The important thing is for you to get well. The chap book will be a wonderful read whenever it arrives.

Date: 2010-01-21 12:49 am (UTC)Did someone say Saltation is on the eArc? More things to read while waiting for the dead tree edition.
Rest up. We will always wait for you. Jeanne T
Rest, rest, rest, and get well
Date: 2010-01-21 08:35 pm (UTC)Always willing to wait a few days in the service of good health.
(The chapbooks, by the way, are wonderful, and had our eldest bouncing around the house. Youngest wants to wait on Saltation before reading more.)
Bronchitis is really nasty. Do take care and do all those rest, liquid, and call-the-doctor-if-you-don't-feel-better-soon thingies.
