... as indeed, who would not? The adventures of Number 10 Ox and Master Li are, well, pretty awesome, flaws of character notwithstanding....

The Story of the Stone and Eight Skilled Gentlemen are equally entertaining and surprising. And I heartily wish there were more stories available.

You don't know me, I know, but I very much recommend them to you, if you are not already aware of them.

And thanks, btw.... I'm right in the middle of Local Custom, re-reading in preparation for reading Fledgling. I'm hoping to get as much in as I possibly can before the birth of my son in mid-April, which is not a LOT of reading, as my daughter is currently 22 months old and really loves spending time with me. Hard to feel bad about that, though!

But what free time I have right now, I fill with the wonderful stories you guys wrote, and count it time very well spent indeed. =)

I agree; I have an omnibus edition that includes all three novels, and they are wonderful.

I'm amazed you have any time to read at al; toddlers are a lot of work!

Thanks for reading.

Toddlers ARE a lot of work.... which is why I do things like this at 1:00 in the morning!

Sometimes you just have to trade sleep for mental relaxation.

THanks for writing!
