Hey, look, a winter storm warning!
Sunday, February 28th, 2010 07:35 pm...which I will believe when there's four to six inches of Cold White blanketing my driveway, and not before.
As previously advertised, I spent today with the to-do list and the laundry, with a couple hours set aside with Steve to brainstorm Ghost Ship, which was fun. And also productive, yanno, later. As it so often is with these things.
However! I did not bring you all together this evening to crank about the weather or to share our mutual horror in the discovery that tomorrow is indeed Monday, but to share with you News of Moment.
Carousel Tides is available for pre-order from Amazon.com*.
Gentle Beings, we have Book.
Or, rather, we will have Book, in about nine months.
Mind you, we don't yet have cover, but that's just Greedy Author being Greedy.
You'd think, with five books (three of them brand new) coming out this year, I'd be a little less excited about this. Guess I'm just easy.
Certainly, I'm hungry, and bored to death with looking at this silly list. Installing the new firewall can wait 'til tomorrow; the old one still works fine, and I can't do anything about the new prescription drug rules from the new insurance company until tomorrow, anyway.
We do need to think about art, and tea services, and filk, but maybe we can do that over dinner.
G'night. Everybody stay warm/cool/neutral.

Date: 2010-03-01 01:52 pm (UTC)One of the conventions we're going to as GoHs this year has asked if there's any Liaden filk. There are three that we know of: "Agent of Change," by Lee Goldberg, "Weapons Hall" (I think) by

Have fun...
