well, could get the rtf, open it in OpenOffice and export as a PDF? on the other hand the book should be in stores within the next few days.

Isn't an RTF file as easy to read as PDF? Works in all word-processing programs, I think. Available at Webscriptions for $6. http://www.webscription.net/p-1164-saltation.aspx

I'm content to wait for my very own signed copy of Saltation (oops! Did I reply to the address-check e-mail? Must go to my "sent messages" folder and check!) But I am plagued with the "want the rest--NOW"syndrome for Mouse and Dragon, and it's worse because I bought the Webscription month, and I had half, and of course I still want more, and in a couple of weeks I'll get another hit, which will last a few hours, and then I'll STILL want more, for another month. Just drags it out. ;-)

One wonders how one submits reader reviews to B&N. I looked all over their Web site and found no clue on submitting (or, for that matter, reading) reviews.
