It's all about the clothes

Mine is a brown leather biker vest with buffalo head nickles covering the snaps.

(I remember staying with a friend, and in the morning she was at a loss which colour to wear. "Strange," I said, "I don't have that problem...")
[1] They happen to fit my shape better than any other brands. By now I've almost forgotten what to do with a zipped fly...

Date: 2010-04-16 05:08 pm (UTC)Once it's warmer, I'll switch to the hip-length openwork vest with ties up the front. I've seen them cycle through fashion trends at least three times since I bought it in high school.

Date: 2010-04-16 06:33 pm (UTC)I have an empire waistline, forest green cotton lawn, slightly puffed sleeve, square necked sundress. It is the lightest, airiest thing I own, and is comfortable from about 70F on up. It makes even 100% humidity and 90F pleasant, even if I have to appear "dressed up". Heck, even if I don't need to be dressed up, I grab it often because it is so comfortable.
If it's cold out (which for me can mean below 80F), I will grab my polarfleece jacket. It has a kangaroo pocket, a hood, is massively oversized, rather wind resistant and very snuggly. The pocket is large enough to fit an in progress knit sock, or a spindle and fiber along with pretty much anything else that would go in a purse. Better, it's *deep* enough that the various items I tend to stuff in there stay put. It is pretty much the perfect fuzzy warmth.
