I am looking, because I am a Person of Extreme Evil, and contrary, too, for a silver moon necklace. But! Not just any silver moon necklace. I am in particular wishing to find an astronomically-correct-as-seen-from-Earth full disk. Please note that for the purposes of this item of jewelery, "silver" means silver, not "silver-colored," "silver-like," or the amazing multiples thereof.

Looking forward to seeing what you find.

Does this also mean not white gold or any other silver allow above a certain percentage?

Argh. Alloy, not allow.

Right. No white gold. No platinum. No whatsitcalled? The silver-and-gold mix. Just silver.

hmmm ... pure silver jewelry is hard to come by ... even sterling silver is 7.5% copper ...

This is a fun challenge! So far, this (http://www.linksjewelstore.com/watch-over-me-moon-silver-necklace-p-14268.html) is the closest I've come. Which isn't that close, but is miles better than anything else I've seen so far. I shall keep looking for a bit.

Close. Not really sure about the diamonds. . .

That's the closest I've found as well.

etsy.com was my first choice for shopping for this sort of unique item, too. I searched jewelry: silver moon. some very cool stuff came up, including a steampunk-ish piece I'm now wanting, and a lunar, perpetual calendar.

happy shopping.

Out of the box firewalls are wonky.

I tried to search for this search at work. About half of the hyperlinks that I clicked hit the firewall and were blocked as being "Cult/Occult." Huzzah for pagan-intolerance at work. In my two years at this office, I got Museum Replicas unblocked (Weapons/Violence) so that I could do gift-shopping for my Air Force bro-in-law and the comic strip xkcd (Adult Content) unblocked to prove a point in a debate with a VP, but I don't think I'm going to get much traction on this particular quest. Sorry.

Have you considered an Alchemy request on Etsy? You request what you want, set a price and people bid to make it for you...

I had no idea you could that.

...I'm doomed.

This isn't what you've asked for, but I found it interesting: They were vending at the last RenFaire I worked: it's silver plate, or pewter, but it's an exact crystal representation of the moon on any date you specify.

but that's pewter.

Oh, aren't they cunning! Nope, not what I asked for, but tempting, nonetheless.

does "silver-plated" come close enough?

maybe?

Tackle it from the other side?

A search for "custom silver jewelry" seems to show a bunch of people who will happily make things to match your design. I didn't look at prices...

There's also http://www.etsy.com/listing/31701585/big-full-moon-pendant? which is passing expensive. But pretty.

etsy has a new moon sterling necklace with moonstones which would seem perfect for only $54. It is described as "Small Diana Hammered Sterling Necklace with Rainbow Moonstones" and is by Clockwork Crow. It's pretty!

Right. Friend who is starting a custom engraving business is "intrigued" and willing to do custom work in silver for between $100 and $200, details to be hashed out when she's back from visiting family. Specs that I gave were silver, astronomically correct (I sent her a picture for good measure), and no larger than a quarter.

Feel free to message me if you're interested in further details, her portfolio link, etc.--I know the price is much higher than the average Etsy piece, and that might make it unworkable. But thank you for inspiring me to ask!

Maybe this one?
