1. Finish laundry
2. Do dishes
3. Outline Tuesday presentation
4. Write 50,000 words of Ghost Ship
5. Locate a space where there are no professors banging pots in my head and outline:
5a. contemporary ghost story I've been trying to get to since January
5b. new novel series

...yeah, I did the easy stuff yesterday.

Edited to add: In fact, I did not write 50,000 words of Ghost Ship today. I trust this surprises no one.

Anybody got a winning lottery ticket they'd like to give me?

Fan question... I've been meaning to ask - do you have any plans to perhaps write more about Jethri? I really enjoyed the story and was hoping to see you explore the human/Liadan merge, for lack of a better word, that he was becoming.

I believe that's one of the things my co-author wishes to speak with me about. It's a good thing we have a couple of long drives and train trips coming up...

Well, 1 and 2 sound doable. Good luck with #4. I hope that one goes well. Is your day longer than mine?

Unfortunately not. I'm thinking a 72-hour day might do it. And a caffeine IV...

I did think that writing half a novel in a day might be a little, how should I put it, ambitious? *g* (Did you actually manage to get any writing done? If so, that's better than none...)

(Only a fortnight to Mouse and Dragon release! That's if Amazon UK actually have the date right...)

I did manage to get a bridge scene written and to sharpen an already existing scene that need some zap!

Eggselent. Our Goal, of course, is to sell out the warehouse on the first pass again...

Hmm, nice ambiguity there ("a bridge scene" could be a bridge between passages of writing or in this case a scene on the bridge of a ship).

If you do sell out again it will be very good. Perhaps I should put in an extra order to help it to happen, although that may happen anyway if Amazon have supply problems as happened with Fledgling and I buy it from another store as well. (Presumably if you keep selling out Baen will increase the first runs of your books, which would not be bad either.)

My sister and I will be there, she's flying in for a visit from Cali and we're driving down from Jacksonville for a weekend of science fiction and shopping.

Re FoL Breakfast at Oasis. There are plans to have one in the Livingston Street Cafe at the hotel. The cafe has a varied breakfast buffet or you may order from the menu. There is an area that will hold up to 20 people fairly well.

I had been thinking about Sunday morning, but our programming committee put Sharon on a panel at 10 AM on Sunday. I wanted to check as to whether this was going to be an issue for Sharon and Steve before I started taking "reservations".

Looks like Saturday morning might be the deal. We're not scheduled for anything until our GoH presentation.
