I don't know what it is but cats+roombas==hilarity. Or some sort of interesting activity at the very least. :-)

(Not for the millionth time I wish I weren't allergic to cats.)

And that is a beautiful kitty BTW!

Every time I see Hex I'm filled with The Envy. Not that my Spanky and Sophie aren't handsome cats, but Hex, in all his silvery handsomeness, is special.

Handsome Boy returns, and now he has a robot! Let us hope that much hilarity ensues.

He really could have an extra pair of limbs hidden under that fur.
He's gorgeous!

Oooh, vibrations!

Had a deaf cat for a while, pure white shorthair. Called him Tapper because if I tapped on the ground anywhere near him he would respond.

Sigh, never did coax him inside. He obviously had bad memories from before he was dumped and found my feeding station.

Hope Hex enjoys the Roomba as much as Tapper enjoyed our tapped conversations.

I wonder if Hexy is a talker? I've met several Maine Coons that are and they're so much to be around.

I was thinking precisely the same thing. Sasquatch, the 23-lb Maine Coon who deigned to live in our house when I was in college, talked a lot, and it got so that certain phrases had meanings recognizable even by us humans, to wit:

"There is a cat lying across the bottom of the stairs; do not step on him!"

"The cat would not object to being fed now."

"Make a lap: the cat is on short final." (This latter message is particularly inconvenient one to receive when one is standing upright with a large bag of groceries in each arm.)
