Mozart takes a well-deserved break at the word factory.

Co-author on Ghost Ship?

I just finished Saltation (on my iPod) today... I *do* hope that Mozart is helping getting Ghost Ship written! By any chance will it be available in eARC form, or do we have to wait for the dead tree version?

First, you have to wait until it's actually written.

Then, you have to wait for it to be scheduled.

Then, you can start to wonder if there will be an eArc.

These things work much better if you worry about them in order.

Ah... I thought that it was well under way, from progress bars from several months ago here...

Scheduling... the sooner the better!

I also thought you *might* know already if Baen would be publishing it in eARC version or not (since I also read that you'd signed a contract for Ghost Ship already) [which pleases me greatly, having been a fan of the Liaden books since my friends recommended Agent of Change many many moons ago]

It's being a difficult and shy book, and at the moment running behind.

Scheduling... the sooner the better!

...as soon as we turn it in -- mind the progression in my previous post.

Yep, the book's under contract. As I understand eArcs, it is Management's decision which books have eArcs, though, each of our books will have an electronic edition.

So, the book is living up to it's name, and being hard to catch?
Sorry to hear that, but I'm sure you two (and your feline co-authors!) will have a wonderful treat for all of us.... I'll just have to practice patience!
My wife will be pleased to know that it will be coming out electronically (she's banned me from buying more dead tree editions [given that our house is literally overflowing with them!])

BTW... loved the Fey books also! Keep up the good work!

Excellent! Now I have a tentative schedule! :-)

*cultivates patience*

Finished Saltation in not-quite-one-sitting this weekend - had to feed the cats, you know! - and enjoyed it very much, so now am waiting for Ghost Ship. Will there be a subscription for Ghost Ship at some point in the future?
