All righty, then. Who can find converters for the following fountain pens (a converter apparently makes a pen that takes ink cartridges into a pen that can be filled directly from the ink bottle): Pilot and Parker.

Edited to add: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] intuition_ist for locating the goods!

It is indeed.

You have not only my gratitude, but the gratitude of a grateful faculty member.

You're welcome. :) I've certainly enjoyed your books enough that I'm glad to do something for you in return. (my username does have an 'i' at the beginning, though; apparently it's a popular username, as both the 'no i' variant and the 'no underscore' variant are in use.)

Fahrney's Pens (http://www.fahrneyspens.com) has converters, as well as just about anything else associated with fountain pens.

Not related to this, but my local bookstore regrets to inform me that they can't order Fledgling in paperback for me because the warehouse is out. They think maybe in a month. I hope that counts as good news for you?
