The Expanding Universe contest is now closed to entries — and the waiting begins!

Later today, Steve and I will take the Big Treasure Chest full of contestants down to Deepest Waterville Maine, where Ellen Richmond, the proprietor of our local indie bookstore, Children’s Book Cellar will exhaust herself by pulling 36 separate entries.

Book spotting!

Dragon Variation and Fledgling at Books-A-Million, Anderson, SC. It is a late book sighting but this is the first I've been in a new book store since they came out. Other than Lee and Miller, I don't buy new hardcovers . Very happy and surprised to see the books there, normally this chain doesn't have the greatest selection.
I received my copy of Saltaion, thank you! It was more than worth the wait. Eagerly anticipating Carousel Tides, and of course, Ghost Ship, whenever it makes up it's mind to become a book.
