Five Things Make a Post
Monday, July 19th, 2010 09:09 am1. I did my first batch of BillPay payments this morning. Hello, Twenty-First Century! Now if only some of those outstanding income-bearing checks would get their cans to Maine, generally, and specifically into the Lee and Miller checkbook, life would be. . .somewhat easier to fund.
2. As of Right Now, 28 Lucky Winners have claimed the code to receive their free electronic copy of The Dragon Variation.
3. This morning's excursions include a stop at the Town Office to pay the yearly toll for both cars. Sigh. Should've planned that better.
4. Ghost Ship has poked its head out from beneath the sofa and allowed me to rub its ears. No sudden noises, pls, and absolutely no requests for snippets.
5. Mozart is asleep on top of the back file cabinet. The stack of filing on the front file cabinet is so tall that I can't actually see him, but I can hear him snoring.

I'd hate to think of what could happen if the bank had sent the money to the wrong place -- we'd have THREE problems to deal with. The intended payee, the bank, and getting the money back from the wrong payee.
