The State of the Steve Report

...still not home. Tomorrow (Saturday), for sure. Well, reasonably sure. As long as the fever doesn't rebound tonight.

Thank you all for your continued support and good wishes.

Continuing, not continued ;)

I am relieved to hear that he is most likely going home tomorrow. You must be overjoyed! Thanks for the update. It was most distressing news.

All best wishes for a full recovery.

Steve's known for keeping a cool head, right? The fever too will pass. Soon he'll be back where Hexapuma can supervise his recovery. I know the doctors and respiratory therapists are beating up on Steve for you -- who's taking care of you?
I've been through this wife-of-the-pneumonia-sufferer bit myself, but instead of cats for company I had 100 sheep and a three-year-old daughter. You're hearing from lots of us who are thinking of you, praying for you (give it up -- it's our way) and sending good thoughts your direction.
Pneumonia's scary, and it keeps on keeping on... blasted illness, anyway!

Continued healing thoughts going Steve's way.

...to send positive, healing thoughts to both of you. And a big smile, come to think of it.

Thank you for the update.

... a big *warm* smile

*crossing fingers that the fever stays down*

Sending healing thoughts for a quick recovery and "normal" body temp. Probably being home with you and cats is the most healing place he can be. Take care of yourself, as well.

Best wishes!

And don't forget to take care of yourself too!

Best wishes to you both.

Thinking all the strong thoughts we can in your direction. It's hard being the water carrier through all this, so don't underestimate how hard this will be for you. Soon Steve will be home, with much less drama and a cat to supervise 24/7.

I highly recommend a hot Epsom salt bath before he gets home -- you need to be at your best, or you'll worry about him! (And much cat cuddling, of course, after the bath.)

Fingers crossed that today is the day -- and that all residents of the Cat Farm and Confusion Factory will be resting easier with all home and accounted for.

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. I'm sure he'll feel much better for being home with you and the cats.

Fallen a bit behind on reading your posts, just read about Steve.
Hope he is feeling better.
I had pneumonia many years ago -- bad stuff. I have come thru surgery felling better.
Tell him Colorado with our nice dry air is the ticket -- I do know how you stand breathing all that water. At least that is what I ask myself when I am back in Illinois visiting.

Wishing good thoughts on his health – get well Steve!
