The State of the Steve Report
Friday, October 22nd, 2010 06:50 pm...still not home. Tomorrow (Saturday), for sure. Well, reasonably sure. As long as the fever doesn't rebound tonight.
Thank you all for your continued support and good wishes.

Date: 2010-10-22 11:34 pm (UTC)I've been through this wife-of-the-pneumonia-sufferer bit myself, but instead of cats for company I had 100 sheep and a three-year-old daughter. You're hearing from lots of us who are thinking of you, praying for you (give it up -- it's our way) and sending good thoughts your direction.
Pneumonia's scary, and it keeps on keeping on... blasted illness, anyway!

Date: 2010-10-23 04:42 am (UTC)I highly recommend a hot Epsom salt bath before he gets home -- you need to be at your best, or you'll worry about him! (And much cat cuddling, of course, after the bath.)

I had pneumonia many years ago -- bad stuff. I have come thru surgery felling better.
Tell him Colorado with our nice dry air is the ticket -- I do know how you stand breathing all that water. At least that is what I ask myself when I am back in Illinois visiting.
Wishing good thoughts on his health – get well Steve!
