Post blizzard
Tuesday, December 28th, 2010 06:32 pmSnow relocation continues. Thank ghod the plow-guy takes care of the driveway, and all I have to worry about is the deck, the steps and maintaining a path through the hills of snow from the bottom step.
In between the above activity and some convoluted errands in town, only a little work on George.

Progress on The Book Presently Known as George:
18,474 words/100,000 OR 18.47% complete

We were at a con -- once or twice, now -- when the organizers wanted to put us panels about how to create a language. "We hear you've invented a whole Liaden language."
"No, no. Only some words -- less than two hundred. Possibly less than a hundred -- and no grammar at all. We really haven't invented a language."
"Really?"
"Really. We'd love to be able to invent a language -- it sounds utterly cool. But neither one of us is a linguist."
