Yes, yes: "Spam LiveJournal" was not on the to-do list.

An advertent reader tells me that the Locus Poll is now out. They note that eligible Lee & Miller, and Lee, novels are not listed, and neither were many of their favorite works of 2010. They also note that they made ample use of the write-in options.

The Locus Poll is a reader poll. Anyone can vote. Please only vote once. Mr. Kelly takes a dim, dim view of "ballot box stuffing." As he should. If you participate, please also be truthful about your gender. Mr. Kelly has in the past had a difficult time believing that women read SF in numbers.

Is not user-friendly to Baen novels ..

Only mentions are ..

Cryoburn (LMB)
JBU online magazine
Toni W as editor
Baen as a publisher

Also, multiple question on Worldcon, only one on any other cons.

Yes, that was understood. The problem with Baen is remembering which year a story originally came out with it often being issued in snippets, eARCs, Webscriptions, hardbacks and paperback versions.

Right ... baen is not posturing for awards ... but still wants readers. Alas, a certain segment of readers wants the "validation" of awards.

This list that I compiled of Baen's Hugo-eligible novels and short stories may help, as it's all stuff published in 2010 and eligible for the Locus poll, too.

Please note that the short fiction list is incomplete, though, as it doesn't list the eligible stories from JBU. I have those in my work email and will try to amend the LJ post with them tomorrow.
