Yes, yes: "Spam LiveJournal" was not on the to-do list.

An advertent reader tells me that the Locus Poll is now out. They note that eligible Lee & Miller, and Lee, novels are not listed, and neither were many of their favorite works of 2010. They also note that they made ample use of the write-in options.

The Locus Poll is a reader poll. Anyone can vote. Please only vote once. Mr. Kelly takes a dim, dim view of "ballot box stuffing." As he should. If you participate, please also be truthful about your gender. Mr. Kelly has in the past had a difficult time believing that women read SF in numbers.

CT was the last book of that Baen e-6-pk, $15? two of which i'd read on paper.
A old friend retired to Maine from NY so that was my connection to starting to read CT. an e-book on an iPad - easy to carry around and well, i'm about half thru CT.

Exciting time, to have a 16 book Liaden Universe before me - i love books in a Universe, eg. Bujold, Weber, Flint, Ringo Hmm its a Baen connection.
I guess I'll put my money down on the first Omnibus volume.
Thanks for writing

Psst? Not that the omnibi aren't good reading, but if you are just trying to catch up in ebook format, the collections might be faster?
Take a look at Korval's Legacy Collection and Phase Change Collection (for the novels) and then Liaden Universe (r) Big Bang for the short stories? http://www.webscription.net/s-117-sharon-lee.aspx

Hi, Donald.

I'm glad you're enjoying Carousel Tides. Thanks for letting me know -- and welcome!

As [livejournal.com profile] mbarker says, if you're doing ebooks, the entire Liaden backlist is already available through Webscriptions. Instant gratification! No waiting!
