If I can make it ’til May 20 at the day-job, I’m golden. Deep breaths.

Two more chapbooks went up to BN and Amazon today — Calamity’s Child and The Cat’s Job, neither a mainline Liaden book, though “Sweet Waters” (in CChild) is a Liaden Universe® story. Anyhow, they should be making an appearance in the Kindle and BN stores within the next day.

Also, for those of you in Germany — Amazon today started selling Kindle books at amazon.de, which makes three storefronts for the price of one — Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and Amazon.co.de

Thanks to sleary for her advice on how to handle the BN links. I’ll be getting back to that, um, soon.

And, just by the way — I’m behind on my email.

G’night.

End of semester? Deep breaths. Try not to kill anyone.

Try not to kill anyone.

I may not make it.

Only the thought of the black mark against my otherwise perfect safety record restrains my hand.

For now.

I used to have this nifty "boss" doll that would scream when you threw it against a wall or even on the floor. Not a perfect substitute, but remarkably satisfying. I wish I knew where you could buy them.

I remember that you and Steve read Betrayer out loud. I'm reading it now. So far it's kind of like Dinner with Andre on the Foreigner planet. a lot pf conversation between two people. Really different for sure.

Good luck,
Gus, me and the Ganmg

As you might infer, I am happy, happy, happy. My techie friend helped me download the PC Kindle app to my computer and I immediately bought the eARC of GHOST SHIP from Baen. I have already ordered copies of the signed hardcover from Uncle Hugo's but delivery of the hardcover is an aeon away, in August. May I say, if I can do it, you can do it. Buy the eARC. Eat dessert first! No spoilery but it is a wonderful read...and re-read. And a note to Steve, I promise to buy the eARC of DRAGON SHIP the very moment is is available next year. Write faster.

You may want to check on The Cat's Job listing at Amazon - the Title has part of the synopsis jammed immediately after, so a search on The Cat's Job did not return the Kindle edition. I found it by searching Pinbeam Books. (Barnes & Noble listing is OK.)

Out of curiosity, why did you create another imprint instead of using SRM Publisher? Also, there must be some way to connect the paper and kindle editions - currently they do not refer to each other at Amazon.
