Revisited chapters 11 and 21 to lay in a bit of foreshadowing and add another layer to a pivotal conversation, then went back to chapter-twenty-five-in-progress and moved that along another two or three inches. Ah, progress!

In other news, the house has been vacuumed. The cats are, naturally, not pleased with this development; they now have to start All Over Again in their project to cover the earth with cat fur.

There were a dozen or more turkeys across the road early this afternoon, eating the drop apples off the last lonely apple tree from the ancient orchard that used to cover our little gore of land. I got some almost-decent pictures -- including turkeys in the tree. Silly birds...

Experimentation with pilling the cat goes on. This evening, Max! ate his pill in a roll of wet cat food. This is encouraging. Tomorrow, we will see if the results are reproducible.

I have identified a Whole Buncha Movies I'd like to see. This is called Procrastination. Should I actually go to a theater and view any of these movies, it will be called Not Writing. The list thus far, in no particular order: National Treasure, Finding Neverland, The House of Flying Daggers, Phantom of the Opera, Dear Frankie, The Incredibles. The trailers for National Treasurer, The Incredibles, Finding Neverland and Dear Frankie are compelling, though perhaps the Finding Neverland trailer tells too much. I don't at all care for the trailer for House of Flying Daggers, but I wanna see the movie anyway.

Meanwhile here's me, having reached L in the boxes, and there, at long last, were my Liaden novels! Of course I snatched one up, and I have Conflict of Honor going downstairs as my reward when I get a bit of kafuffle done.

But oh, it's so very brittle--I need to buy a new reading copy, and save this first edition just for a keepsake. Carpe Diem is in the same case, sigh.

AHAHAHAHA!! This seems to be a common ambition in the feline species. Ours (now sadly deceased) tended to cleverly disguise their supplies as dust rhinos (much too large to be dust bunnies) in corners and under desks.

The Incredibles

Was in a word Incredible I've been a comic book fan for a long time and this movie is one this i'll be picking up the moment the DVD is available. the movie covers supers in such a believable way and keeps then human with all the troubles that goes with that.

You should see it as for the others I've heard good things about national treasures but with a 2year old running our life ragged my wife and it have to ration our movie watching.

On a pure selfish note .... keep writing Crystal solder has whetted my apatite for more.
