I’ve just uploaded the last of the chapbooks — twenty-five in all. I note that, as of the present moment, twenty-four of those chapbooks are available in DRM-free ePub format from BN.com; Endeavors of Will, which went up only moments ago is still in the review stage.

Amazon is “reviewing” six chapbooks, which means they’re not yet in the sales database. The account has, perhaps, been frozen, pending the resolution of the “Chariot to the Stars” issue, reported here yesterday; or it may just be that Amazon is slow this weekend.

I will list all of the elektrified chapbooks below. For the Liaden stories and the various questions of what appears where when and published by whom, I see that Someone has been very busy at the wiki and has gathered all that information into one place. Thank you, Someone.

Pinbeam Books (aka Sharon Lee and Steve Miller) chapbooks available in DRM-free ePub (Nook) and mobi (Kindle) format:

Certain Symmetry: AitLU Number Four
Trading in Futures: AitLU Number Five
Changeling: AitLU Number Six

Skyblaze: AitLU Number Seventeen

Calamity’s Child
The Cat’s Job
Chariot to the Stars
Endeavors of Will
Master Walk
The Naming of Kinzel

Variations Three

…My next task forward of this is to build a bookstore page, and elektrify The Tomorrow Log and also Time Rags. However! What I am going to do immediately, now that this part of the larger task is behind me — is proofread the galleys for Ghost Ship.

I just received a weird message when I accessed Kinzel's journal, you might want to check it out.

You're the second one who's said this, but I don't get any weird messages when I go to Kinzel's LJ. Maybe the best thing to do, if you keeping getting whatever it is, is to tell LJ.

Since, yanno, I couldn't fix it, even if I could see it.

Looks like Kinzel's LJ page is back. Think some of our ISPs have a DNS issue. So the strange message doesn't pop up for everyone.

As of this moment (Sat. eve), Amazon lists 23 Pinbeam books with a number assigned to each. The strange thing is that "Fellow Travelers" is listed as both #12 and #13. A few days ago "With Stars underfoot" was listed as both #12 and #13. Weird. The first "page" goes from #1 to #12. The second page begins with #13.

Many thanks to the helpful Someone who compiled the list on the wiki page. From this, I can see that I am missing four chapbooks, which I will now buy.

I wonder...are you planning to write a sequel to "the tommorow log" now you are with a new publisher?

Well, the new publisher is kinda keeping us busy writing Liaden books, so...probably not.

Yay! I've been waiting until they are all up so that I can buy them in order (since I confuse easily, being a Bear Of Very Little Brain).

Er, what is Time Rags? (Sounds like a Scott Joplin medley *g*.) Is there something I've missed?

what is Time Rags?

Time Rags is a chapbook of Steve's poetry. The original layout file was lost in a meltdown several-to-many years ago, so it needs to be scanned -- and I believe he wanted to redo the cover.
